Week one – Jocelyn – The Self Care Mindset 

Jocelyn Fee Miller gained most of her hands on Massage Therapy experience in Southern California, with a background in the Mt. Shasta area.

Practicing Massage Therapy since 2009 and offering Yoga Instruction since 2010, Jocelyn is pleased to welcome her newest project–Panacea Holistic Institute located at Sacred Roots! It was a dream, even then, to offer an Education Branch for Holistic Professionals.

In 2018, Jocelyn founded Panacea Holistic Institute with the assistance of all her mentors and teachers! Panacea, Long Beach’s Holistic Career College neighbors Dharma’s Yoga studio and Bluff Yogalution. The flagship school program provides a 7 month training in Bodywork + Healing Arts. Including a progressive list of modalities including sound meditation, green business practices, emotional intelligence integration and so much more.  The school has a variety of teacher’s who teach their specialties.

Most recently Jocelyn has been producing a public radio show called Morning Intentions as a volunteer with KLBP Long Beach Public Radio 99.1 scheduled to air on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7-8 am. Jocelyn also has a secret musical project:  Jane Free! With a mission to bring suicide + mental health awareness into environments not traditionally associated with the healing arts.

+ Week Two – Cayce Howe :  The Meditation basics

Cayce Howe is an authorized teacher in the Theravada Buddhist tradition with nearly 30 years of practice experience. He lived at meditation retreat centers for nearly 6 years including a year-long closed meditation retreat in the Karma Kagyu Tibetan Buddhist Lineage.

Cayce is a Senior Meditation/ Dharma teacher for InsightLA and teaches meditation at two mental health facilities in Southern California.

+ Week three –  Yve Hart : Basics of Cleansing 

Yve Hart is a Mother, Heart-Mind Life Coach, Theta Healer® Master Instructor, Energy/Intuitive Healer, Writer, Speaker, and founder of The 40 Day Green Cleanse and Yve Hart- Healing Arts.

Yve credits her success rate with her students to connecting people to their inner guru, greatness, genius, aka Inner G. + Week 4 – Armando: Conscious Movement 

After suffering a traumatic leg injury in 1996 that kept him sidelined at the Olympics, The Hart Method training approach was created. Armando Hart‘s road to recovery brought him a deeper connection to himself that created a synergistic relationship between his body, movement, and life. As a coach, trainer, author, speaker, and mentor, Armando’s passionate about reminding others of their innate ability to move their lives forward efficiently and powerfully by grounding into their bodies with the essence of the 8 maxims of The Hart Method- Ground, Gravity, Integrity, Joy, Harmony, Freedom, Action, and Now.

Armando believes that we can incorporate powerful change by moving our body with a deeper sense of freedom and joy. He believes that we have developed a disconnection between mind and body due to the beliefs around success within society. He believes that this belief has resulted in us moving away from ourselves and our essence. His goal is to help individuals remember the power of truly being in our bodies. As a coach and trainer, he has mentored the youth in preserving their essence body, mind, and spirit

Week Five –  Garrett Wood : The debunk of Hynpotherapy 

Garrett Wood‘s skill set pulls from sports massage therapy and strength conditioning, clinical hypnotherapy, and his experience as a leader in the health and wellness industry. Owner of  Gnosis Therapy, Long Beach’s #1 Mind-body Clinic.

+Week Six – Cassandra: Emotional Freedom Technique 

Cassandra Vitale is a Long Beach native who has been practicing yoga for 9 years. She is the owner of FreeSpirit Yoga and LOVES the Long Beach Community and Bixby Knolls.  She has been a member of the studio for 9 years and has been teaching at FreeSpirit Yoga for the past seven years.  She teaches every level of class at the studio. She studied yoga on her own for many years and has a 500hr Experienced Yoga Instructor Certification with Cloud 9 Yoga. Cassandra is also an artist, EFT Practitioner and Reiki Master. Her joyous nature, serious dedication to the practice of yoga, and lighthearted approach make her classes fun, nurturing and challenging all at the same time.



+Week Seven  – Chrissy : Inner-standing Astrology for Self Realization 

Sopurkh (Chrissy Cox) has been teaching for as long as she has been here on Planet Earth, dedicated to the awakening of the Aquarian Consciousness. She shares an innovative weave of yogic and cosmic insights, sound healing, and deep meditative experiences.

Her unique offerings dilate spaces for emerging new dimensions of awareness, sensitivity, and innovation, and support each student in realizing their true purpose and highest potential.Sopurkh is mother to Isis and partner to Dawna. The three live in Long Beach, CA where they have created two thriving raw food restaurants, Under the Sun Cafe and Rainbow Juices.

+Week Eight – Kara Mirarchi : The science and spirituality of breath

Kara Mirarchi has been in the healing arts industry since 2005. She started her career as the sports massage therapist for the United States Women’s Soccer Team participating in 3 world championships. Kara brought her experience in the field into the classroom and has been teaching, directing and creating massage therapy programs ever since. She is on the board of editors for the Science of Massage Institute and a site evaluator for the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools ensuring massage therapy programs are meeting their benchmarks and maintaining their standards.

+Week Nine – Lynda Arnold: Sound Meditation and bathing 


Lynda Arnold is a certified Sound Healer, Vocalist & Multi-Instrumentalist, Composer and seasoned Performer on a life long mission to build healthy communities through the power of sound and music. She offers sound healing workshops, private sound baths and singing for wellness sessions in Los Angeles and has appeared at Shakti Fest, Bhakti Fest, LA Yoga Expo, DisclosureFest, SXSW, Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, Lightning in a Bottle Festival, Emerald Exchange Festival, Burning Man and Lucidity Festival among others. Her intention is to provide a gateway for people to reduce stress, transform consciousness and heal through sound and meditation. She received a Certificate in ‘Sound, Voice and Music Healing’ at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco in 2010, has multiple music degrees and over 25 years of music education and performing experience.
